Meet the Team

Aaron Cooper Headshot

Aaron Cooper - BROKER

From the very beginning, Aaron Cooper has displayed initiative and strong leadership skills. Born and raised in Cocoa beach, the native Floridian enjoyed his position as captain on both the Cocoa Beach High School soccer AND baseball teams. It is no wonder that he continued to play competitively while attending the University of Florida, Jacksonville where he earned a degree in health science. Upon graduation, Aaron purchased his first home at just 23 years of age.

Only one year later, Aaron was acting manager of a health and wellness program affiliated with the Jacksonville Sherriff’s Office and had successfully transformed his home into a premium rental property. At age 24, Aaron purchased his second home.

Deciding to return to school, Aaron successfully earned an MBA in business administration in 2007 and was managing a Neptune Beach urgent care center. It wasn’t long before Aaron was selected as director of wound care and hyperbaric medicine at Baptist Hospital. Through this executive-level position, Aaron established and expanded outpatient programs while managing multi-million dollar budgets, further developing his own foundation in business and finance. As a result, Aaron experienced financial stability despite the struggling economy and began to purchase and rehab foreclosed properties, transforming them into premium rental properties.

While sitting on a beach in 2012, one year after marrying his wife, Sarah, the decision was made to become financially independent and Aaron’s real estate “hobby” became a career. Upon returning from vacation, Aaron tendered his resignation to Baptist Hospital, shocking both friends and family and, by 2013, Aaron had acquired 13 rental properties, a real estate license and a well-known reputation for success. In fact, he was high in demand as others wanted to experience that same success. As a result, Aaron launched Innovative Property Solutions as a means of assisting rental property owners in building and maintaining rental properties while helping them to plan and achieve their personal business goals.

With ten years of real estate investment and management of both single family and multifamily residential properties, Aaron’s contribution to his company is invaluable. As a fellow real estate investor, rehabber, landlord and experienced property manager, Aaron has firsthand knowledge of the stresses of maximizing cash flow, the demands of maintaining a rental property and securing a premium tenant. Aaron’s experiences are unique, ranging from foreclosures and multifamily buildings to move-in ready waterfront homes. Landlords crave Aaron’s contemporary approach to property management and his extensive market knowledge.

As a true real estate lover, Aaron is always in the midst of his own renovation project, constantly working on his properties. In fact, he is already teaching his two-year-old daughter, Caroline, the business. Aaron also enjoys time in the “blue” water of Florida as an avid boater, fisherman and paddle boarder – any chance to be outdoors with his family.

Angela McKee

Angela McKee - Business Development Manager

Angela McKee is no stranger to property management.  With a background full of working with HVAC company professionals, construction workers and master electricians,  she became all too familiar with the many details of properties and how to manage them at an early age.

Angela has always had a soft spot for others and began volunteering at City Rescue Mission in 2006.  Her desire was to offer compassion and hope for those broken by addiction, wanting help to rebuild their lives.

Desiring to blend a love for people with her own natural, professional abilities, Angela launched a property maintenance company in 2010.  She then went on to earn her real estate license shortly thereafter.  Angela proved herself invaluable as she advanced to property manager while simultaneously rehabbing multiple houses and flipping myriads of rental properties.  In addition, she commissioned various work crews while overseeing arduous rehab construction projects, gaining extensive experience working with both local and foreign owners/investors.

Angela joined the Northeast Florida NARPM (National Association of Residential Property Managers) and served as Education Chair from 2012-2014. Such involvement granted Angela continuous mentorship, the opportunity to build strong business relationships and develop valuable skills.  These assets, in combination with diligence and expertise, set her apart from other property management professionals in the business.  In 2019, Angela began serving as Communications Chair, which she continues to hold for 2020, maintaining tight connections with various professionals and vendors in the industry. She also joined as Vice Legislative chair for 2020 due to her passion for law and community involvement.

In 2019, Angela served as Vice Education Chair for the Florida State National Association of Realtors & Property Mangers (NARPM) and is the Communication Chair for 2020.

Angela continues to impress serving as the Vice Global Council Chair and 2020 Legislative Board Member for NEFAR (Northeast Florida Association of Realtors), where she has been a member since 2012.
Angela's contribution to IPS is immeasurable.  With commitment, reliability and follow-through as IPS core values, we recognize Angela for the tremendous role she plays as business development manager.  She works tenaciously to educate realtors, masterfully assist property owners and offer premium service to both local and foreign investors/property owners alike in the management of their own properties.
